As a teen mother, I graduated from this wonderful place. This school was instrumental in helping me complete high school when I thought I would need to drop out and get my GED. The teachers were encouraging, but the head master, Eric Swinney, was phenomenal. He was cautious with my whole situation. As a teenager, I was so rebellious. After seven years, I realize that I should have been grateful for all that Life Christian Academy did for me. Currently, I am a year away from completing my Bachelor's degree. Words cannot express my gratitude or thankfulness for this ministry. Now, my child was the first to attend as the daughter of an alumni!
We are homeschoolers at the homeschool cover they operate (LCA) is a blessing to our family. Headmaster/Pastor Erick Sweeny is a faith servant of Christ who serves our God, our children, and this church in a Godly and loving manner.
This place has opened my heart to the goodness of God and His love through the people here and their examples. I can never thank God enough for the way that He used LCA to grow me into a more Godly woman.
Went here for my high school years, and I couldn't be more thankful for the staff and teachers! Having a biblical perspective taught to me helped my growth and understanding. I was able to participate in many different activities since the classes I took only met once a week. This also helped me transition into college easily, even after a gap year. I could go on about the blessing of this place, but I'll leave it at this, I learned so many helpful skills for the future and am really thankful.
I have all told spent 15 years at this school, and during this time Life Christian Academy became like a second home to me. It was a place of kind and caring friends and teachers- a place of fellowship and learning. While there is no school that is perfect, Life Christian Academy prepared me exceptionally well for college and despite its multiple flaws I have had more positive memories there than I could possibly count. The atmosphere at the school is one that encouraged my personal growth as a Christian, welcomed the expression of my Christian beliefs, but at the same time encouraged an open-minded education. Furthermore, I was welcomed and accepted despite having unusual pastimes and a quirky personality that at many schools would have made me an outsider. In conclusion, there is no other school that I would have rather attended for my K-12 education and I would not be the person that I am today without Life Christian Academy.
